Friends of Fort Malden

Summer Students

 


Through a federal government program, high school students have an opportunity to work at the fort during the months of July and August.  Under the direction of the fort's permanent staff they: 

  • provide demonstrations and interpretive tours for visitors
  • re-enact "Life at the Fort"
  • assist with group tours
  • serve in the Garrison Gift Shop

Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) is an initiative of the Summer Work Experience program and is offered at Fort Malden under the sponsorship of the Friends of Fort Malden.

In 2009, Fort Malden enjoyed the services of 5 CSJ students.
